• Flap closure with dual buckles keeps your gear in place and within arm’s reach. 
• Capacious main compartment with a padded bottom and three banded open-top pockets for journals, packing cubes, or small accessories, and two elasticized pockets on either side for a water bottle or umbrella. 
• Horizontal zippered pocket beneath the flap closure for holding small notebooks, cords, and accessories. 
• In-flap zippered pocket for grab-and-go essentials, like phone, wallet, and keys. 
• Built-in padded laptop compartment with two-way entry. Fits most 15” laptops or devices. There is a zipper on the back exterior, so you don't have to unbuckle the bag to get your laptop out – just unzip and go. 
• Stabilizer strap/belt designed to keep your Marathon Messenger close and prevent it from swinging around during bike rides and brisk walks. Uses one-half of your bag's waist strap (the half with the male buckle).
• Cache loops above the laptop compartment, for those who want to keep their laptop suspended for extra protection.  
• Multiple ways to carry. Sling it over your shoulder, grab it by the handle, or wear it crossbody as normal or close to the body with the stabilizer strap.
